national naval aviation museum, nas pensacola, florida

what a trip... never sen so much history in one place on a given subject since the smithsonian museum. this took all of our attention for two days and we could have spent a week to absorb all of it. there are hundreds of aircraft on display... all have a story to tell. there are a whole formation of retired blue angel jets suspended form a celing, a mig 15 is there on display, the plane with the number 6 on its side was pulled from lake michigan and took 5 years to restore. it is the only one of it's kind in existance. there is a lot of other things to see there as well, recreations of a period kitchen, a 1943 harley davidson motorcycle that still runs, and more to follow.
