bay st. louis mississippi. nice town, devastated by katrina, came back pretty well though. the people there were optomistic about the future. it is quite a nice place. a couple of casinos in the small town. the one we stayed at was hollywood casino. very nice campground. cheap senior lunch buffet. $3.49, eat until you pop. we people watched at a table right next to the buffet line for about an hour and a half. judy said i should have taken pictures but it isn't legal to do that without the people agreeing to have it done, and they weren't about to take time out from feeding to have their pictures taken, so we just watched. the salad bar was great. we saw the "alice mosley house and antique museum". about the only attraction besides the casinos in town. she was a primitive folk art painter and has a son that collects antique pottery of various kinds. we also visited the catholic church of st. rose de lima. it was the first catholic church in this country to admit catholic priests. they have a wonderful gospel choir unique to catholic churches. we bought a cd they made. also experienced an intersection where they wanted to be sure you stopped before continuing your journey. six stop signs anda blinking light.... just to make sure.
