a couple more pics of the fort activities... then some condos that judy liked... they were not what they appeared to be, shall we say. most of teh barrier islands were sandy and full of vacation rentals. here though, the sand seemed to be drifting much as snow does up north. it is a very fine sand and there doesn't seem to be much to hold it in place so it blows around and has to be delt with much the same way as snow where we live. hundreds and hundreds of vacation houses. they all look new. like as if they were all destroyed by the storms but have been rebuilt. at least that is the way it appeared. i don't know that for sure.
